The RG 1672M is the first of the heavy-duty field protection models.  The engine horsepower is transferred to the 63.5cm diameter cutter wheel through V-belts and a polychain.  The direct drive system lowers the initial investment cost whilst enhancing the cutting speed.  The RG 1672M's turbo-diesel engine and direct-drive cutter wheel deliver raw cutting power to the job site.  This tow-behind machine features extra-large cutting dimensions with a full 152cm telescopic extension.
